Kirsten's Chocolate Chip Cookies
3 c. flour
1 t. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. whate suar
2 eggs
1 c. butter
3/4 t. salt
3/4 t. baking soda
2 c. chocolate chips
Bake 7 min at 350 degrees
(Note by Dee: 20-25 min at 375 degrees for pan cookies; I do regular cookies about 9 min.)
Kirsten's Treats

1 c. Karo syrup
1/2-1 c. peanut butter
6 c. cereal (such as rice crispies, Special K, cornflakes)
3/4 c. butterscotch chips
1 c. chocolate chips
Bring sugar and syrup to boil, Stir in 1/2 c. peanut butter and cereal. Press into 13x9" pan. Melt butterscotch chips; spread on other ingredients and let cool. Melt chocolate chips; spread on otther ingredients and let cool. Cut into 1" squares.
