Milkshakes

Scott took this shot while we were having Huckleberry Ice Cream
(thanks for the tip Sarah E.!) in West Yellowstone with G&G!

I picked up this recipe at a food storage fair recently.
We tried it and decided that it tastes like a Wendy's Frosty.
So far it's the tastiest way to 'rotate' the dry milk in our food storage!
Test it out this Memorial weekend!

Food Storage Milk Shake
2 c. cold water,
1-1/2  c. dry non-fat milk powder
1/3 c. unsweetened plain cocoa powder
2/3 c. granulated sugar
2 T. vegetable oil (will try without next time)
1 t. vanilla extract
1 spray cooking spray
1ce cubes to top off blender (ours took 2 1/1 to 3 trays)

Add all of the above ingredients into your blender. Whirl on high for two full minutes for texture and to aerate the mixture. if your blender is a little feeble, increase the water by 1/2 c. to make a thinner shake. (1/2 recipe was very generous for three of us)

Here are some other recipes I found, but haven't tried yet. Give them a whirl!
